The study shall describe competences for operators of maritime autonomous surface ships (MASS) from remote control centres (RCC) and shall propose competency-based curricula for those MASS RCC operator in the different capacities; the competences shall be based on definitions of MASS RCC operators’ functions, sub-functions, tasks and capacities to be developed for generic MASS RCCs to be proposed in operational scenarios of remotely controlled MASS of given types and sizes, with and without seafarers on board.

2018-06-05Provision of training courses for Accident Investigators (European Maritime Safety Agency)
The objective of the contract is the design and delivery of training courses related to marine accident investigation and to develop the relevant training material, including presentations, exercises, uses cases and supporting notes. The courses are divided in 2 separate lots which will result in a separate Framework Service Contract each with the following subject:
— Lot 1: Core skills course for accident investigators,
— Lot 2: Advanced course for accident investigators.

2016-08-24Provision of management training services for EMSA staff (European Maritime Safety Agency)
The purpose of the contract is to provide EMSA staff with management training services. Depending on the needs detected, training courses shall be either standard or tailor-made, though other related services may be requested, such as consultancy related to training and staff development (e.g. training needs analysis, etc.).
After the conclusion of the procurement procedure EMSA aims to conclude a framework service contract with an economic operator for the delivery of the abovementioned services.
