The purpose of this procurement is to establish an acquisition channel for data centre equipment and associated services. This will enable EMSA to acquire new equipment, extend maintenance on its existing equipment and call on consultancy services relating to the setup, configuration and support of this equipment.

The objective of this procurement procedure is to establish a single framework contract for procuring H24 ICT operations services for the EMSA maritime applications and their underlying IT middleware and infrastructures hosted both in the EMSA premises, and in the EMSA business continuity facility in Oporto. The expected reaction times are in the in the order of 1 hour via remote connection for the 24×7 tasks, and 8 hours if requested to intervene in the EMSA premises.

2011-07-14Provision of IT services for the helpdesk, maintenance, correction and upgrades related to SafeSeaNet (European Maritime Safety Agency)
The objective is to establish for the next 4 years a framework contract with an experienced contractor that can be called in a relatively short time to support EMSA with IT helpdesk, code correction, maintenance and upgrades relating to SafeSeaNet.
Following the signature of the framework contract, EMSA intends to contract in particular in the first year, corrective maintenance and helpdesk, and a first effort in upgrade and development of the system.
