In order to simplify the ship reporting obligations and to streamline the processes in the context of ENP beneficiaries (hereinafter BCs), EMSA has included in its portfolio of activities, the development of a feasibility study in order to assess the possibility of developing a Maritime National Single Window (hereinafter MNSW) for each beneficiary or a Regional Maritime Single Window (hereinafter RMSW) for a joint group of beneficiaries, which would be hosted in the Agency’s premises.

2021-03-11Study for Identification of Competences for MASS Operators in Remote Control Centres (CMORCC) (European Maritime Safety Agency)
The study shall describe competences for operators of maritime autonomous surface ships (MASS) from remote control centres (RCC) and shall propose competency-based curricula for those MASS RCC operator in the different capacities; the competences shall be based on definitions of MASS RCC operators’ functions, sub-functions, tasks and capacities to be developed for generic MASS RCCs to be proposed in operational scenarios of remotely controlled MASS of given types and sizes, with and without seafarers on board.

2012-04-26Study on standards and rules for bunkering of gas-fuelled ships (European Maritime Safety Agency)
The main objective of this study is to provide EMSA with a detailed analysis of the current applicable standards as well as the ongoing regulatory development on LNG bunkering and, following this detailed analysis, to produce a draft set of common EU-wide guidelines or standards in this field to assist the Commission in assessing whether the adoption of such standards are justified.
