Provision of data centre equipment and associated services
This procurement will result in the award of a multiple framework IT contract with reopening of competition to a maximum of 5 successful tenderers.
The purpose of this procurement is to establish an acquisition channel for data centre equipment, software and associated services namely servers, storage systems, network and security technologies and operational services, virtualisation software and base operating systems and software, cloud-based data centre services. This will enable EMSA to acquire new equipment (in the form of new purchases, upgrades, and upgrades with trade-in of old technology), extend maintenance on its existing equipment, procure also virtual machines, storage and other cloud-based resources, as well as consultancy and operational services relating to the setup, configuration and support of this equipment.
This call for tender covers the supply of:
— hardware and software in conformity with the below-given (in point 2.1 of this document) mandatory minimum vendor list operating in the area of IT data centre (including all options and extensions),
— cloud-based data centre and off-site capacity management services namely virtual machines, storage, and other cloud-based resources like infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), software as a service (SaaS),
— associated services, namely maintenance and support, software subscriptions, professional services, operational IT security, delivery, installation and assembly services, professional consultancy, etc.).
