The subject matter of this contract is the supply and installation of an air compressor (s) to the infrastructure department of the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory
Air Compressor(s) – It is for the bidder to determine the number of units, 1 or 2 that are required to meet the technical demand of the INL
1. Oil-free, rotary screw type, air cooled.
2. Capacity: production should be between 30 and 240 liters/sec free air delivery at 7.5 bar (g).
3. Install Compressor (s) in acoustically insulated, ventilated enclosure.
Accessories:
Controls and Instrumentation:
Provide complete factory-installed controls and instrumentation to automatically control compressor loading and unloading to maintain system set point pressure.
Provide also an automatic command and control for the existing compressor, this should be connected to run at least once a week and shutdown the new unit (s). The existing compressor is “AtlasCopco ZT-132”.
Provide the following indicators and alarms:
— First and second stage discharge pressure.
— Oil level, pressure, and filter condition.
— Motor and fan run status.
— Compressor run and load time meters.
— Shutdown and alarm lights.
— Local audible alarm.
— Output for connection of common trouble alarm to the owners.
Provide motor starters, motor overload and short circuit protection devices, start/stop pushbuttons, other devices required for system operation. Power and control sections shall be appropriately separated.
Factory wiring of all components to motor starters and control panels is required.
